Financial aid
Algoverse has granted over $1.2M in need-based aid. We work directly with families who would benefit from the program but cannot pay full tuition.
First look
We share new cohort openings, application windows, and capacity with our partners before any of it goes public.
Student outcomes
76.5%
of identified high school authors at NeurIPS 2025 were Algoverse alumni.
Based on a systematic search of OpenReview author profiles and camera-ready PDFs across all 33,193 accepted NeurIPS 2025 authors. High school affiliation was identified through institutional affiliations listed on papers and author profiles.

Inside the program
Every year we send hundreds of high school students to NeurIPS, EMNLP, ACL, and other top venues as published authors, presenting their own work alongside graduate researchers.

The program
The 12-week structure
Meet your mentor, explore research areas, and define your project scope.
Students leave this phase with a peer-reviewable research proposal and a literature review specific to their topic.
Execute your research plan with regular mentor check-ins and faculty guidance.
This is where the bulk of experimentation happens — weekly mentor one-on-ones and bi-weekly faculty office hours keep the work moving.
Transform your findings into a publication-ready manuscript.
Students go through multiple revision rounds, dedicated writing workshops, and faculty review of every draft.
Submit to conferences and prepare to present your work to the community.
Many students continue past week 12 as workshop presenters and as Algoverse mentors for the next cohort.
Who your students will work with
Algoverse principal investigators and mentors are active researchers at Google DeepMind, Meta, Stanford, Anthropic, Berkeley, and more. They include PhD candidates and industry scientists, all publishing at the same conferences your students will submit to.
