Algoverse is working in collaboration with University of Michigan's SLED Lab on a research project to develop language model autonomous agents for the web. The Situated Language and Embodied Dialogue (SLED) lab works on developing computational models for natural language processing. These models consider physical, situational, and communicative contexts to create AI agents that can interact and collaborate with humans using language.

A few of our most motivated alumni from the Algoverse AI Research program were chosen to work with graduate researchers at the SLED Lab. As high schoolers, they are receiving hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI research that will be invaluable in their future studies, college admissions, and careers. Stay tuned in late Fall 2024 for updates on this project!
